I’m C. which stands for - a fairly uncommon name that you’ll probably never guess. In the hopes of trying to keep some shred of anonymity (yeah, on the internets even) that’s what I go by. I supervise an office and that’s about all I disclose about my job. Because really, let’s be honest - jobs aren’t all that fun to talk about. I talk fast, love to laugh and I’d do almost anything to have my back scratched.

I live in Northern Virginia and I’m married to a man whom I love and sometimes who I want to hurl down a flight of stairs. Such is the plight of love. I am so many things and yet not all that complicated. I'm an often bossy right-a-holic who understands that she can not always be right, but you can't blame a girl for trying can you? I believe in eating breakfast for dinner and dessert for breakfast - after all, you only live once. I speak English and Spanish and I love to read books. I also love music and I’m slightly (okay, WAY) compulsive.

Sometimes I cry while watching the animal planet channel.  I believe in God and the power of praying, but if you don’t, I’m okay with it. I’m right-handed and lack the ability to draw anything that requires a stitch of coordination.

I lost the 6th grade spelling on the word “lariat” and I think Scrubs is the best comedy on tv. I couldn’t live without my faux-tivo and I still love Charmed (r.i.p.). I don't take myself that seriously, and you probably shouldn't either..

This domain was purchased sometime in 2007 and put into use in May 2008. It is not my first domain. If anything seems familiar that’s because I’ve owned oh, about 344 domains in my lifetime. The site was purchased via namecheap and is hosted by resellerzoom, both of which I highly recommend. The whole thing is powered by expression engine.

I’ve been writing online off/on for about four years. Mostly because I spend so much time at the computer, that it seemed like a normal thing to do. This site’s name is a reflection of a mental state for me. I am fully aware that I am not perfect but I am also a work in progress. I write not only for the community aspect, but as a way to take a good, long look at the person I am and the person I am becoming.
